Summary of what participants can expect during the webinar series:

  • On day 1, candidates will be introduced to the English Language Arts 331 TExES exam. We will explore reading instruction techniques tailored for grades 7–12 and discuss assessment strategies for evaluating reading proficiency in this age group.
  • On day 2, candidates will explore strategies for enhancing text comprehension among students. We will analyze various types of texts commonly encountered in grades 7–12 and techniques for critical analysis and interpretation of literary and informational texts.
  • On day 3, candidates will examine effective written communication skills for both academic and professional contexts. We will discuss strategies for fostering oral communication proficiency among students and incorporating technology and multimedia resources to enhance communication skills.  
  • On day 4, candidates will focus on an in-depth analysis of the constructed-response section of the English Language Arts Arts 331 TExES exam, providing insights into its structure and tips for successful completion.
